Rios, Jess, 1981-still alive, American poet and artist. Jess Rios displays her work in Dallas, Texas. Her talent travels the country wide via Album Art for singer, songwriter Susan Gibson, the CMA award-winning songwriter of “Wide Open Spaces” recorded by the Dixie Chicks. Rios is a co-founder of Depth Works Expressive Collective and continues to be an active art advocate of many forms in her community. She consistently creates abstract ideas in form through various media-painting, collages, graphite, charcoal, fabric, linocuts, fashion design, and poetry. She draws inspiration from life in all forms, from Spirit, from her years of traveling and working on the railroad to her current day mystical urban hikes down poetry filled streets.
